Li Li Ren’s solo exhibition “Nameless for Evermore” at Third Street Gallery
Third Street Gallery
2025.11.10–2026.01.24
The exhibition revolves around the concept of haunting, addressing the isolated experiences of contemporary life divided by technology and information. Through the vibration of material and the absence of sound, Ren poses the questions: How to remember? How to forget? What remains when language ceases to function?
Behind this cascade of concerns, the artist seeks not redemption but rather listens to the reverberations of silence within the fissures of “incommunicability.” The gallery space is transformed into a realm suspended between reality and memory, where forms gradually surface through the sediment of time as though life itself had imprinted traces of breath in matter. Nameless here for evermore is an exhibition on memory and existence, and moreover, a farewell to language itself amidst perpetual turbulence.
