Magician Space is pleased to participate at Art Basel Qatar with a solo presentation by Timur Si-Qin. This project draws from his recent fieldwork in the Hengduan Mountains of southwest China, a region known for its exceptional biodiversity and ancient ecological memory. Though bringing together sculptures and digital media, Si-Qin translates physical encounters with specific landscapes into works that retain a sense of presence, reverence, and sentience, exploring the relational intelligence of nature and its resonance within contemporary spiritual inquiry.

The project expands upon Si-Qin’s long-term conceptual and visual framework New Peace— a proposal for a post-secular mysticism of the natural world that reimagines nature as a site of meaning, intelligence, and spiritual connection in the face of planetary crisis.
